QUESTION: When spraying my hair with hair spray, is it best to spray directly on my hair or above my hair and let the falling mist set my style?

ANSWER: Spray in the same direction that the cuticle lays, which is from the roots to the ends, and in the same direction you want your hair styled. Your hair will have hold and movement. If you spray up into the hair or in a direction opposing the style it will look frizzy and lose movement.
